Mandarins

Each season offers different varieties of mandarins. Luckily, because every country has its own preferences when it comes to flavour. Many of our mandarins come from Swellenfruit Farms in Swellendam, South Africa. Because the soil here in the Western Cape is dry and low in nutrients, the roots of the trees have to grow very deep to be able to take in water and other nutrients. It is this effort that gives the mandarins their most delicious flavour.
