Would you like to take the administrative burden off our company, together with your financial team? Do you find it challenging to work on reliable figures and sound administration in a dynamic, young and fast-growing company? Do you have experience with administration in the fruit and vegetable sector? Then we are looking for you!
As an administrator you are an important member of our team. In the financial department you work with your colleagues on the administration and optimize the financial process within Chainn. You support your commercial colleagues in improving their administrative tasks and ensure that the business controller and management have the correct figures available on time.
Who are we?
At Chainn we are passionate about our field. We closely monitor market developments and respond to them. This drive leads to in-depth knowledge and high quality. Our passion is not limited to our profession but also extends to our customers and suppliers. We use our knowledge and experience for them every day. Through open collaboration and transparency, we connect both parties efficiently, leading to win-win situations for everyone. Our goal: a fair and transparent chain for all involved.
As an administrator, you ensure correct and careful accounting. You manage and process invoices, pay outstanding bills and keep track of transactions with our ERP package (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central). You share your knowledge with junior colleagues and together with the business controller you offer management insight into Chainn's financial position.
A day in your position
You start your day with coffee or tea and a chat with a colleague. Then you deal with questions and emails, process approved invoices and check payments. At the end of the month and the quarter you file the VAT and ICP returns and the declaration for the credit insurer. Around 12:00 you and a colleague will prepare lunch, for example a Poké Bowl. After a lunch walk or table tennis, you investigate incorrect bookings, advise a commercial colleague and consult with the business controller about the monthly reporting.
What are we looking for?
Our ideal new colleague has a completed bachelor's degree in an administrative/financial field and at least three years of experience in the fruit and vegetable or flower and plant sector. You are flexible, accurate, advisory, investigative and solution-oriented. You enjoy solving puzzles and improving processes. You can communicate excellently at different levels, both in Dutch and English.
Why work at Chainn?
At Chainn you will find a fun, responsible, healthy and growing working environment. You will have great colleagues and plenty of room to develop yourself. You work in a dynamic environment where it is never boring, but where we work towards a long-term goal. You find good pay, work-life balance important, but also a pleasant, free working atmosphere and a wide range of responsibility.
